Marlena Loughheed was born and raised in Belleville, Ontario. After obtaining degrees in communications and journalism and interning with the Vatican’s representative at the UN, she moved to Toronto and spent five years working as a communications coordinator for the Archdiocese of Toronto’s Offie of Public Relations and Communications. In her free time, she swims competitively and has dabbled in the world of triathlon.
