Light illuminates shadow. The ancient hall beckons, "Come." The door obscured under the brilliance of light. Photographer Conor Sweetman's frame brings to mind the verse,"In the quiet you will find Me." The beauty of the hall is featured so as to prompt the viewer towards a contemplation of the Divine. In his Letter to Artists in April of 1999, Pope John Paul II reflects, "The link between good and beautiful stirs fruitful reflection. In a certain sense, beauty is the visible form of the good, just as the good is the metaphysical condition of beauty." The good and the beautiful, an invitation towards truth and Beauty Itself.
